I got a recording telling me they were sending their bogus pain cream and to push a certain number to notify my insurance company. Definitely a scam. On my Call Block list.
If you have Frontier I believe you're correct. If they weren't getting a share of the loot they would stop all of this [***]. I quit them and went to VOIP. I advise everybody I know to do the same.
Got a call from this number, 361-998-9450 caller ID says, "Alert". As with most, I'm on the DNC list as well and still get all these calls. I too have had an unlisted number for years, but guess what I found out? On MyLife.com they now have my name, address, phone number etc listed and want me to PAY to take it down. Such bull, as they don't have my permission to publish it in the first place! For those who think it's not out there and unlisted, think again!! It's out there. One other website, I don't recall it just now, it's somewhere as I'm trying to find out how to get a hold of someone to help me, but they even have how much I'm "worth" amt on their website with all my person information, which I found by googling my husband and my name when a friend suggested it...that's how I found out how the numbers are being found and more calls getting. Heck, they even have so called relatives listed, and I get calls for those people, and they're not even relatives, and then I get harassed for "lying". I just refuse to answer calls I don't recognize anymore, I just let it ring and go about my day after reading the caller ID. But it does bring on headaches getting the calls all day long!!
