Got a call from these crafty scumbags more then once. Calling me was one thing, but calling my family saying they have "documents" for me and do they know where I am. Scammers..creeps...penny chasing fuckery! Don't be duped...and most of all...don't be grieved.
Be sure to file a formal complaint to each of these regulatory companies.

The called me a couple of hours ago. Some lady named Ashley called and stated that some company is threatening to take legal action against me. She then gives me this number 877-800-6027 or something, along with some cockamamie reference number to identify who I am. So I call that number to find out what is this all about, then they ask me to confirm the last 4 digits of my social security (which I DID NOT give, nor was I actually going to). And because I didn't do so, the representative wouldn't tell me why the company wants to take legal action. So I hung up. I called Ashley and told them I don't owe them anything and tell them to stop calling my phone. Then this [***] says they don't care and they will file anyway. Don't be a victim people. Report those greedy [***].
This came up as Daytona Beach Florida on my caller id. Why would a whole beach call me?
The caller asked nicely for the previous owner/leaser? of my phone number. I explained I've had this number over 3 years & never met them. I've had so many calls for them over the years, I hoped my number was removed from all lists on them by now.
Either collections companies have more info than you might think (as she believed me) or there are some reasonable people employed with them. Perhaps both?
I hope they find who they're after.

My husbands son got a call from this # looking for him and he was told it was a civil matter. His son told him he did not know him and hung up. He gave my husband the # and I called it and of course got a voicemail. Then I Googled it and found this. Just within this time, they also called my ex husband !?!?!? REALLY!!!! I posted about these ppl on Facebook!
