Recieved a call from this number a few minutes ago, I answered it and the recording was that I could lower my interest rates on credit cards. I pressed "2" to have my number removed but, I'm sure I will still continue to get these kinds of calls. I am on the do not call list as well and it seems like it doesn't do any good being on it. I get these calls weekly, ranging from lowering interest rates, to car warranties.
Got a call from them w the same interest rate message. I clicked through to ask them who they were. The guy said "consumer services" and hung up when I started to push him.
Allegedly, and this is the only part I believe, his company got my information from my auto dealer.
I asked the guy for the company he worked for and he mumbled something I couldn't hear. When I asked for a corporate call back number he demanded to know why I wouldn't just give him my auto information. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he mumbled an opinion of me and hung up.
Jeeze, what would customer service be like if he's their salesman?
