I keep an air horn next to my phone for these thieves. I press one for a live person and when they answer I give them a blast from the air horn. Then I enjoy the profanities that usually follow. As these criminals usually wear ear pieces to keep their hands free for typing, the blast from the air horn must be particularly painful. Get an air horn, blast these miscreants, and enjoy the reaction. Sooner or later the calls will stop if they all go deaf.
this call started with a recording stating that they have tried to contact us numerous times regarding our car warantty is about to expire. I held on the line for an agent (male) who asked about what cars we owned. - I explained to him that his "company" called me, and reversed the question.
He hung up - what a surprise. BTW, we have no car warantties.
Called saying once about credit card debt and then called again about car insurance, saying that they got my number by calling information but that is a lie because I don't own a car and never have and I don't have credit cards either and when I ask them about who they are calling for they tell me they can't tell me that info then hang up, something should be done about this because this isn't the only number they call from and it's the same person.
