Your post is what is a bunch of hooey. You do NOT have to update your DNC registration - ever. Didn't you read the info on the site when you first registered your number?

Legitimate telemarketers do pay attention to it. If not on the DNC list, you'd be getting even more calls.
Received on my cell phone approx. 1450 today , did not answer was in meeting . I called back and a recorded message stated " If I did not want to receive calls from this number please press "1" " I did not press "1" figure that would key off another live one for them .
Received a call, I didn't answer but called back. The autobot that answered said if I will would like to have my number removed from the call list, press 1. I pressed 1 and then it disconnected.
