Your post is what is a bunch of hooey. You do NOT have to update your DNC registration - ever. Didn't you read the info on the site when you first registered your number?

Legitimate telemarketers do pay attention to it. If not on the DNC list, you'd be getting even more calls.
This number robocalled my mobile at 5:26pm. I pressed 1 to speak to a live operator. when I challenged the operator about calling a number on the do-not-call registry, he immediately hung up.
The behavior indicates:
1 - aware that it was a violation of do-not-call,
2 - called anyway,
3 - dishonest attempt to get personal info, credit card info, etc.,
4 - thief, trying to steal from me (if I had been gullible),
5 - deserves response right between the eyes.
Too bad the phone network is in the way.
(No foul language, just an honest response to an unaccountable thief trying to prey on me, and whoever else they can.)
