Your post is what is a bunch of hooey. You do NOT have to update your DNC registration - ever. Didn't you read the info on the site when you first registered your number?

Legitimate telemarketers do pay attention to it. If not on the DNC list, you'd be getting even more calls.
called while on other line. Looked at call log and noticed suspicious number. Looked online before calling back and found this site. Now reporting incident. left no message! called back from secure land line and recorded message was received saying if i didn't want to take call or receive call from this number press one.
Called my cell - I did not answer - they left no message.
I get a couple calls a week from scammers - from notes here, this looks like another one.

Go to www.endrobocalls.org and sign the petition. It is by the Consumer Reports Magazine folks, and they are pressuring the Feds and phone companies to end this nonsense. Spread the word !
