I've received a call from this number 5 times this week. Finally I got someone to talk when I answered the phone. It was a chimney company. Told the guy I was sick of the calls and my chimney was fine. Take my number off your calling list. He said O.K. I'll see you tomorrow, and hung up the phone. I am also on the do not call list.
Obviously some people enjoy very challenging work...call a number every day, write the # down, and make sure you call around the same time again for the next year! Gee this is fun stuff. Stupidity at it's finest.I don't speak to telemarketers since I'm on the do not call list. Just ignore it and move on, we are all in the same boat. Have a great summer everyone. Go outside, take your phone off the hook for awhile if it annoys you. :)
I have been getting calls from this # too for the past 2 weeks or so non stop.. When you answer no one is there, you try calling back and it says the # is out of order. I too am on the do not call list so this is bull ! There is no need for these harrasing phone calls from these losers especially when they have nothing to say anyways....
Every day someone from this number calls. Occasionally I hear someone hang up if I answer it. Most of the time I ignore it. Also tried to called back, said number not in service. VERY annoying.
This may be a spoofed number to determine if anyone is home without disclosing the real calling number. (A spoofed number is where the caller can cause any number to appear in the Caller ID display.) Aside from just getting kicks out of calling and hanging up, the only other reason I can think of is to identify homes that are unoccupied at the same time every day.
