Got the call, answered and heard nothing so I hung up. I have a Maine number but live in San Francisco and I get those car warranty calls all the time on my land line. Has anyone tried donotcall.gov ?
Repeated calls from this number, it is a recording telling me that the factory warenty on my car is expired. Press 1 if i want to talke to someone about it or press 2 to be taken off the list. I hit 2, lets see if i am taken off the list.
Here's a tip:
I own a nokia cell. I have the numbers of callers I know saved in the phone. The numbers that I ever take calls from are added to a "group", call it friends. I also customized a "profile" (profiles are a bunch of settings for the phone.) My phone can save 6 - 8 profiles. My "standard" profile only rings for numbers assigned to my "friends" group. Everyone else goes to vmail. :)
Just got a call from this number. Googled it and found all these comments. Totally sucks, this is because the governemtn allowed cell phone #s to be released.
