I just missed a call from this number too on my cell. Curious to check what the area code the phone number is for, I found numerous reports on calls from this number. Glad I googled it before returning the call
got the same kind of call 2 other times since st. patty's day. i told them to remove me from their calling list and they hung up. i called verizon and they assured me that they do no give out our numbers even on a national call list. they also informed me about am email going out to verizon customers. Beware. I was told that if you type your number into ANY document online there is a chance it can be stolen but more times than not the company sells the phone numbers.
This is a debt collection agency trying to obtain information. Just don't answer when they call. Even if you don't have any late bills, they could be calling to see if you will give info about friends or family that they have on their accounts.
Apparently that number just called my cell phone @ 3:15 p.m. Fortunately, that phone is only used for emergencies when gone, so I had no need to rush for it, but it would have been embarrassing if I were somewhere I had forgotten to turn it off--or alarming to me if I had been driving. No message was left--what is with these people?
