I just missed a call from this number too on my cell. Curious to check what the area code the phone number is for, I found numerous reports on calls from this number. Glad I googled it before returning the call
I got the call a few minutes ago from this number and I have had calls from all different numbers (the same scam operation). A lot of people I know are getting these calls on Verizon network. Does it have anything to do with verizon? Can we stop them?
Got a call 401-762-4302. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize # or even Area Code. 2 minutes before got a call on the home phone with a recorded message from "My CC company". Recorded message wanted me to dial 1 to have my CC rate lowered. Had this one before. If you get to a live person and ask what company they represent they say "Credit Card Services" press them and they hang up. Ditto if you ask for Manager or mention the Do Not Call List.
Got the call, answered and heard nothing so I hung up. I have a Maine number but live in San Francisco and I get those car warranty calls all the time on my land line. Has anyone tried donotcall.gov ?
I was in school and someone called me in the middle of study hall and so i picked up and they didn't leave a voicemail so after school i called and it said it was disconnected. I have no idea what is going on.
