Got two calls total from this number. One on the 22nd at 8:15am and another on the 23rd at 7:15pm. I haven't received any calls since then. I have been receiving calls from a different number claiming to be Chase USA, but for THIS number, I have not spoken to anyone nor have they left any messages. I had not received any of these numbers until I got my Chase card...soooo the card will be canceled because it's more annoying than it's worth.
It makes no sense that this is a legit #, the automated system changes on a regular basis and you should not be able to get someones account balance simply by pressing "1". Have the number blocked via your phone service. The switches do have the ability to do that whether they admit it or not.
They called me this morning at 8:10, left no message, I called back and some lady started to tell me how I owed chase bank money by the 17th, but then I hung up, called chases number on the back of my card. When I asked about the 402 number they said its not theirs.

when I returned the call there was no company name announced - the auto attendant asked for the phone number I was calling from so I didn't know if it was legit and hung up
I have recently been receiving calls from this number and I reported it to Chase. They assured me that this number is not theirs. They sometimes have a call out number starting with a 407 but never a 402. This is a scam number do not give any info. If they give you trouble ask for their name and tell them you would feel more comfortable calling Chase's 1-800 number.
i called chase at 1-800-432-3117, screamed at the lady who answered cuz she wanted my ss# to 'look up the account'...I don't have an accout!!! She transferred me to security department, that lady asked for my phone number and name they were asking for as well as why they were calling and the last phone call. I gave her all this and she said i'd be taken off this guys account...
