Got a call @ 9:49am 8/28 said he was an Attorney. Got a call @ 3:54pm 8/27 hang-up. Got a call @ 9:47 8/26 hang-up. Have had at least 10 others all times of the day.
Just received this winning phone call. We should all be rich by now, ha! Same mo. It is disturbing that they know our addresses, etc. But it seems as though that no one has posted any break ins, etc. They must be looking for someone to actually get excited and be willing to give up info. I wasn't believing it.
This is part of the notorious Jaimaican lottery scam. Do NOT call them back or send them money. They are beyond dangerous. A woman who was bankrupted by this scam told them she had no more money to give them and they threatened to kill her.
received call from Fisher Grant law associates this morning (9/30/15) from someone named Nathan Phillips stating that I had come in second place in a clearing house sweepstakes drawing of $500.00 and a check in this amount would be delivered by private courier on Friday Oct 2nd between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM and all I needed was proper ID. Also wanted to know if I was married and my husbands name. Asked to speak with him also and informed him that he was entitled to half of my winnings. Asked me to hold on and would be transferred to attorney for final distribution. Hung on for about five minutes and then the phone went dead. Tried calling number back but was told that it was disconnected. Such a scam.
