My mother received a phone call today from 404-330-0248 stating they were calling from Publishers Clearing House and that she had just won $500,000.00. My mother did order from PCH so she thought it might be legit. I asked for the number and found this forum. Thank goodness. They asked if she was married, divorced, widowed; asked if she had a valid drivers license, and if her son lived in the house. When all questions were answered they said they were now going to transfer the call to their attorneys and then the call was disconnected. She has tried calling back and received nothing but a busy signal. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM...
I got the same l from Calvin. Rhodes an attorney. From fisher, grant and associates, saying I had won 500,000 and all the same things stated by others above. Waiting for that call back from senior attorney.
I got a call this morning saying I had won 500,000 from Publishers and Geodian Robinson said she represented the Atlanta Law firm of Fisher, Grant and Associates. They said they would deliver on Friday between 9 and 11.
RFMBP. scamed 10-20-15,on my Birthday.
Said I won 1/2 million. From Sweepstakes Clearinghouse. Would be delivered by Currier. Told me old add. Ask for new one. I told them. Said they would find me.
Droped call as soon as I wouldn't give my Banking info.
Got the same call today. My husband is gullible and I had to teach him not to give any info over the phone. He was notified that he won 500,000 but they needed to speak to me. I asked for name and phone number, the "attorney" said she would look up claim I.d. and told me to hold on. The line went dead. I tried calling back, no answer. Thank goodness for your comments, my husband believes now that it's a scam. I called, BTW, the first number and it was from a company that sells memberships to some "discount" club.
