Who called from 4044001147

This is a phishing call. They just want to know that your number is active. "Pressing any key" for the no call list is just a ruse. Many of us called are already ON the DNC list. They are just scammers, crooks, and scumbags. Don't answer this call, or your confirmed live number will be passed around to other scammers. Unfortunately, lodging a complaint to DNC will do nothing. These people don't care because they will change their number/identity well before DNC takes any action, if they ever do.

I pressed 1 to talk to a representative and I told them I don't have a credit card and they hung up

I received a call from the number and opted to speak to a live person. I asked which credit the caller was referring to. She told me a Visa with an balance of $3500. When told the caller that I did not possess a Visa card she hung up.

I don't know who it is. When I reverse called, there was an automated message. 'Press any key to be put on the no call list'.
