I just got a call from these guys too. I know that it is a fraud. I haven't written a check in 25 years. This happened to me before and they scared me into paying 93 dollars. They said I wrote a check back in 1993 ( 26 years ) then soon after that they said I had 4 more all from the same company. At that point I knew I have just been had. I was very lucky to get my money back cause I claimed I was tricked into paying. They kept calling for months harassing me. I just don't know how someone can really get away with this stuff. Now I'm getting calls from this new number. This really sucks. There calling my wife at work. I don't like this harassment. The police say that there's not much I can do
Same thing here, we have logged well over 150 calls from them over the last few months and told them, when someone finally answered after pressing "1" , to come at me with everything they have and that they have to send me all of the proof by mail, I also gave them my attorney's information and told them my attorney would contact them and they said to tell my attorney NOT to call them, I thought that interesting...We have reported them to the BBB-Better Business Bureau and FTC-Federal Trade Commission for harassment, the FTC opened a case for us and we are letting them know every few days of how many more times they call and from what new numbers they come from. I urge all of you to do the same. My check was supposedly from 21 years ago.
