I would love to "block" these calls if they werent coming from different numbers every other day. This is fraud and harassment and should be prosecuted as such.
Complete scammers. They hung up on me when I told them I had googled their number already and read all the complaints and that I'm only answering to entertain myself.
Thinking you're unable to beat them is nonsense. But doing it depends greatly on one thing: you MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETELY MISS CALLS. If you're able to do it, make sure there is NO kind of answer. Not automatic or manual. They call, the phone only rings. If it's a landline, try turning off the answering machine (if you can). On a cell, look for a call blocking app. Getting any kind of answer allows pests to pass your number along and keep your phone ringing. Nothing at all could put a stop to that and decrease the calls. It takes a long time, patience, and tolerance. You won't stop them entirely, but you can definitely cut back.
