Many phone handsets come with call blocking capability - check to see if your phone has this feature. If not, look into buying a call blocker - you can get a good one for around $40 nowadays.
How are they able to get away with this? Someone called me stating that I owe for a 26.53 check from 1997. Now because time has elapsed I have to pay 300.00. I laughed and told them I've never written a check and I wasnt going to pay it. That was 2 months ago and the still call. Of course I have blocked them but it's still annoying when the go straight to my voice mail.... Crazy I wish us victims could do something to stop these idiots...
Sorry this has happened. It's happening to me as well. They've started calling my relatives. I don't know where they are getting this information from, but I have blocked them on my phone. Lots of people are being victimized by these folks and there's more than one fraudulent company.... Extremely annoying
