I got a voicemail message stating that I had written a bad check and a tag had been placed on my driver's license.... Anyway, I did a reverse lookup on the number and it showed a Las Vegas location but no company name. I called the number and the person just answered with his name but did not include the company. When I prompted him for the company name he started interrupting me. It took four times of me getting him to repeat the name to finally get it clearly.
I got a call from (803) 667-3170. The woman I spoke with answered the phone with her name. I asked her what company she worked with she stated," Four Star Revenue Management". She asked me my name. I gave her my name. She said she had to verify the last 4 of my social. I told her I could not provide her with that information. She said we already have that and your bank account number. I she said I owed $480.0) for a pay day loan debt. I told her that I have documentation that I don't owe anyone anything. She provided me with the fax number (716) 551-6438 to send my documents. Because I am no dummy and I know I don't owe anyone anything I of course will not be sending her anything. I think it is so distasteful to try to take people's money. The entire scam is dumb, why would you attempt to steal from someone who has taken out a pay day loan. Some one who has taken out such a loan is in need of funds and therefore has no money to steal.
This fake "debt collection company" goes by a different stupid name every other week! They are out of the exact same location in Seneca, NY - probably just some abandoned warehouse. They call with fake allegations of a civil lawsuit regarding a debt you clearly DONT owe to them. This moron called me today and started to try and give me the stupid schpeel that he was obviously reading off a scrip they are all trained to read. I just hung up and filed a complaint against them with the BBB and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau - as you all should do.
Most recently contacted me referring to themselves as B.O.R. Mediation - and plenty of other fake [***] "law firm" and "debt collection" companies....DONT GIVE THESE IDIOTS ANY INFORMATION.
I just gotten this same message . HE said is name is ,"Tim ham from 4 Star Management, his telephone number is 404-445-3284. i just plyed the message. I do not know these peopl.
