you sir are a nerd....no dates in highschool or college...if any...you flooded your self with useless information...tidbits of garbage...do u actually probe and look for new messages from people each day!! as long as people have bills their will be collectors...as long as people pass bad checks their will be investigators awaiting their demise or payment receipt...what you have all failed to know is that just like fdcpa is their and came about to protect consumers from debt collectors and their bad practices...their is also protection made to protect banks and pay day loan companies from people taking advantage of them for being the one to help consumers when they did not have the resources...some of you guys took out loans with no intention of making good on it....just how long did you think nothing would be done about it....think...eventually something is done about every problem......

What part of CIVIL did you not understand? What debt collector possibly has the authority to issue a warrant? DUH. The absolute ONLY thing a debt collector can do AT WORST is take you to court. And then a judge is going to listen to your case, your circumstances, and 9 times out of 10 (unless there are repeat offenses under your belt) is going to file a judgement against you to pay back the debt. The whole process costs more for the company filing than the actual debt is worth, seeing as how they buy the debt for pennies on the dollar, so it's not worth it to even take anyone to court. THERE IS NO DEBTOR'S PRISON IN THE US. These people are breaking a Federal Law by threatening legal action that is not theirs to take. Scare tactics work on the misinformed, which is why people search these forums- to become informed!
