received a call from a microsoft speacialist stating that there is a problem with my computer. asked me what my e-mail was and wanted me to turn on off my computer.
I got a call from this number he sounded Indian from India. I could barely understand him. He said he was a Microsoft Tech and that I had virus on my computer. As soon as he said that I was pissed and knew this was a scam. I asked what computer. He hung up. A few seconds later I get a call from this number and it was the same guy, 212-555-1212. The prefix 555 is the number they use on the TV. Anyway, I said didn't you just call me, he said yes. I asked why are you calling me from a different number. He hung up. A few minutes later he called again. I said, This is a F---ing Scam...quit calling me.
Unknown company, claimed Microsoft calling from 1-404-622-7070, the callers are calling all of my numbers, I am showing Adtech is currently affecting my computer, 2o7, Advert, Advertising, Atlas, Atwola, CasaleMedia, Media infection, and TribalFusion, these things are allowing personal information to be tracked. What I don't understand is why the purchased security tools do not protect the consumer's identity from these scammers. The infections did not show until I made the system update itself, it was always showing it was updating, ha ha. The callers are rude, using profanity and demanding that the user touch the keyboard and turn on the computer. They were right my computer was off and disconnected from my internet. I do this every day when I am not using the system. The caller quoted my address and other personal information. I wish they would show up physically at the location, as I am packing. We could end this in one day. However I will begin to investigate and research them as they are researching us, I am packing in skills beware scammer.
