Just got a call from this number again. Several each day. Says he's calling for mastercard and visa. I asked where he was located, he said Ohio. Caller ID comes across as Atlanta, Ga.
I've been receiving calls from this phone number for a little bit now and I've been ignoring them. I finally picked up when I realized they weren't going to stop anytime soon. They said I had expressed interest in working from home. Which I hadn't. I told them to stop calling me.
Then I started getting calls from "unknown". I figured it was them and picked up. The guy again said the thing about working from home and they had great deals for Canadians with Direct Vue tv in the states. They'd set me up with websites..blah blah blah. I hung up. They called me back this afternoon. I asked the guy where they got my number from. He said I did a survey last week (I did not) and that I had expressed interest. I asked which website. He said they have multiple sites so he didn't know. He then rambled off some e-mail address and I told him it wasn't mine. I told him very unpolitely to stop calling me and to have any of his affiliate companies to stop calling me as well. He hung up on me. I consider that a victory.
This number has been calling me too for the past several days, I haven't answered it yet, and I don't plan on it unless I have a whistle to blow or an air horn in my pocket! Sounds like they are a little on the persistant side. If anyone finds a way to stop them please post it!
If you were to break one finger and toe a day you would only be able to do this for a total of 10 days... not 2 months. Unless they are mutant freaks that we are dealing with. But... you are on the right track.
