Although Portfolio Recovery are rather annoying with the phone number shell game I do get a kick knowing I screwed them out of well over $10,000. They are not the brightest group of debt collectors out there. My God the morons can't even outwit the govt and now are not paying the money they were fined. Unfortunately for them the govt debt collectors are actually efficient. You Get Nothing!
Portfolio Recovery is trying to collect a 15 year old AT&T bill (way over statute) on a cell phone that was stolen which AT&T failed to turn off when I reported it stolen. They're wasting their time.
