The beauty of having the all in one phone cable and tv . I dont use the home phone anyone of any consequence knows my cell phone aside from them which does not have it . I keep the home phone ringer off and check the messages once every couple of weeks when the contract is up i get rid of the home phone and someone else can have the number . I don't deal with pond scum bottom feeding collection agencies who never have the right person and or phone number and i certainly won't waste time or money sending them a letter they will mostlikely shred and ignore .

So, I answer this number because we have an office in Atlanta, and this guy starts up by demanding to talk to this man who no longer works here, and I tried to tell him what we normally tell people who don't work here, and he accused me of covering up for this guy, who, by the way has stage IV cancer. So, I hung up on him, and he called back. I didn't answer. Our attorney looked up the number, found out that it's spoofed, but also belongs to something called portfolio recovery, and they have a laundry list of lawsuits against them. They're now blocked.
