I received mail over the weekend introducing Portfolio Recovery Associates as now handling a delinquent Sears/Citibank account. On the first business day following the letter, I'm receiving calls at work.
My CALL BLOCK works on these stupid numbers. PANASONIC phone which BLOCKS 250 numbers. It rings 1/2 time and comes up "Caller Blocked". And they have a TON of numbers that they use. But with 250 call blocks on my phone, let em rip ! Once it fills up, I can erase whatever numbers I want or erase them all and start all over again. Damn shame it comes down to wondering who's calling every time the phone rings. SCAMS SCAMS SCAMS...Wonder how they would feel if some spammer sent a call to their mother...
Called 8:45 am today. I did not answer as i do not reconize this number, lefted no message. I am sure this is PORTFOLIO RECOVERY, COLLECTOR OF ZOOMBIE DEBT! They have over 40 phone numbers. You have to ask yourself, why? If they were a legitimate outfit they would not need so many phone numbers.
