just answered a call from this # as i was reading what others had posted. they asked to talk to parents of my high school age daughter said she had attended a college prep class or gone on a scholarship website and i told him she had not done such a thing. he asked me if i wanted to be placed on a do not call list and seemed very nice about it but we will see..... they have been calling for the past week a couple times a day so we will see if the calls stop.
These people call my home constantly. I have told them we are on the do not call list. They said they would remove us, but that was about ten calls ago! They don't even get my child's name right. Get this..when I said they are getting bad stuff written on the internet about them, the guy said they are A+ rated with the better business bureau!!! When I said he should check the internet to see what is being said about his company, he started to argue with me. I told him I'm not interested in what he has to say, nor am I interested in arguing the point.
I got the same thing but a guy called me and they knew my first name and asked me if my Parents where there I'm 14 years old they shouldnt know my name like that
We are getting the phone calls as well. The College Board sells the SAT score list to anyone who wants to purchase them, if our kids check it off on the box. We need to make sure our kids know that they do not need to check off the box, that it will get unsolicited calls, and we can find the info in a better way.
I got the calls everyday at 330 and when I would answer it would just hang up. Today someone was finally there. Same thing knew my sons name etc. I listened and then said I don't think so and before I could even finish the [***] hung up on me! WTF is right! Ahh feels good to vent :)
