I checked around. This phone number is 'called' Tea Party Patriots. Apparently they don't have anything to do with the 'tea party'. The common characteristic among the call recipients is that someone in the household (or the address) might have voted for the Republicans (GOP) in one of the last 2 elections. So this number (group) is being used to harass these people till they get fed up with the Tea Party and stop supporting it.
I can't get more information to find out if this is a Democratic funded scammer or someone doing it on his own funds to try help the Democrats.
Remember the IRS!
Maybe, this is a variant on the same kind of harassment.
If it is really the Tea Party calling, they would wait to talk to you about their cause and ask for your support or at least, for a donation. This number just calls till you want to pull your hair out. No other intent behind it.
I have a Samsung Rugby II but your's may be similar. This is how I block a number: I find the number on my "missed calls" list, highlight the number and choose it. I then click on options and go to "add to reject list" and do so. OR.... go to "settings" on your menu. Go to "calls". Choose "voice call" then "reject list". It may then give you an "option" to type in a number you want rejected. good luck.
Hang in there, it will probably stop eventually. Here's something I heard works: When answering a computer call, press the # and/or * buttons repeatedly. Supposedly, this confuses their computer, making it difficult for it to call you again. I can't necessarily verify this but it may be worth a try.
Thomas Sowell addressed this. Initially the Left loved Hitler, then when Hitler started killing people from other countries they just said Hitler belongs to the right wingers.
The left wingers do not want to be associated with the negative results of their policies or the praise and lie about the results, for example the great health care under Castro or how wonderful Chaves is.
