I thought the same thing, Tracy, so I asked if he was live or a robot. He said he was live and reading from a script. Answered some of my questions as if I had said OK on donating a certain amount. When I asked what exactly we were talking about he said have a nice day and hung up. We never got to any pay part. A scam for sure.
A friend answered a call from FAV at 405.437.2591. This is the same person/'company' at 405.437.2578 that foned twice yesterday. The guy foning asked for me by name, my friend told the guy I was unavailable and was told he would fone back and no message. I am disabled and currently unable to talk very well. This is Harrassment and Disturbing the Peace. These people need to Cease and Desist before complaints are filed with BBB and FCC.
These scumbags call my elderly parents 4-5 times per day. Worse still my father is a veteran, and yet they harass him for a donation to help vets like him. I wish the goverment would shut these scammers down, seize ALL their assets, throw the scammers in jail, and give the seized assets to veterans who need help.
