I received a call from 405-437-2591. I answered, the someone said, "Hello, John" and hung up. The caller ID said "FAV". UI saw where someone referred the call as being from Federation Of American Veterans. Most of these scammers use a familiar charity such as veterans, disabilities, etc. Sadly, the charity never receives any money. It's always a scam. If you want to donate, do it directly, not to someone you don't know on the telephone.
This number shows up DAILY on my Blocked Call Register; now it just hit for Sunday Morning. The AG's Office will be getting a follow-up call on this first thing Monday as will my Attorney.
Scammer that calls twice a day, multiple months. Supposedly for Veteran support. Lie. National Do Not Call Registry under the FTC obviously has no power. This number reported repeatedly.
