call about twice a week. No message. I know telemarketers are trying to make a living but I have a job and can't stop in the middle of the day to answer calls. Leave a message if it is important.
Same as the ole auto-warranty folks - I hit 1 to 'speak to a representative' and got some ghetto punk. Basically got into it with them. They threatned to come over and 'kick my a**'. Told them anytime - The said 'I invoke the castle law b***h!'. They reiterated 'I'm coming over!'.
Its a scam. Plus would love for him to come over - he threatened me with bodily harm - and I cna't wait to defend myself!
Recorded message offering lower interest rates. "Press 1 for more information. Press 2 to stop calls".
I pressed "2". Got a live operator that asked if I was responding to get lower interest rates. I said, "No, I'm responding because I'm on the Do Not Call list and should not be being called." Call went dead and I was disconnected.
406-219-2389 is the other number they have called me from. Both times the exact same message was left by the exact same female voice, she called herself Heather. These people want your credit card info so they can go on a shopping spree at others' expense. I let the machine pick it up and as I was listening to the spiel, I imagined what she would say if they were honest about their theivery.
"Hello, this is Heather, we are looking for saps to give us their credit card info. Please press 1 or 2 to speak to a live operator immediately who is eager to go shopping, open up lines of credit in your name, get loans, and basically just steal your identity. This is not your final notice as we will continue to harrass you for years to come, almost on a daily basis. Thank you and have a nice day."
