they called today. caller id says reset. left automated message. i called back and pressed one as directed to stop calls. hope this works. also reported them to dnc. i have been on the list since it began.
Similar to several above. Caller ID says "RESET". Recorded female voice on a very clear line says they're calling about my credit card account. Didn't say which one, which for me is the tip-off it's either spam or a scam, or both. They offered to transfer me to a live operator by pressing 1, or 9 to be taken off the list. I pressed 9.
Will filing a complaint actually do any good? How can the government/DNC agency take any action if these people (term used loosely) have a fake company name & phone number?
