We got called last night at 5;31 on 3/31/2011. Yes like people reported here they say they want to lower credit card rates.How ever when husband told her he would not believe anything she said & would wait to here from major card companies she hung up. Its a scam.Turn this in to your States Attorney General Office so they can look into this I did.The name that came up on our caller ID was Reset.
I Answered this call and they went on and on about lowering my interest rate-- I said that I would not give them my credit card number over the phone and that I would call my credit card company to verify their affiliation..they hung up--These people are out to scam you--They got very nasty!! I hope they call again-so I can blow the air horn in their ear!!!!--
"Hi this is ..... calling to tell you to call to lower your credit card rates. Press 1 to speak to someone and press 9 to be removed from our calling list." They have called in the past this is getting annoying! Why do people get paid to harass others on the phone. You can not call them back either.
Received call today 4/06/11 at 11:53 am. Want to "lower" my credit card rate....I Don't Have ANY Credit Cards. I too, am on the Do Not Call List. These people are annoying yes, but what really gets me going is I think the Do Not Call List is a SCAM too. Just something that was started to pacifie us.
Keeps calling, message says it's about my credit card, not currently a problem but it's urgent they spea, to me about it. I DON'T HAVE ANY CREDIT CARDS. How can I get them to stop? Call at least once a day now. I'm on the Do Not Call list. I thought this is what the DNC registery was for? I get calls everyday from "toll free" etc.
