406-219-2085 was the caller ID for a robocall from "Jennifer at account services with an urgent message about your credit card". The call was made to a VOIP number not listed with any financial account AND the number is in the DNC registry. Pressed "9" to be removed apparently to no avail. "Jennifer" has also called my cell and my landline (both on the DNC list) but don't know if the CID was the same. Today "Jennifer" called my landline (alas, no caller ID on it) - I pressed "1" to talk to a representative who started asking me about my credit card. I didn't give any info but asked how they got my number. The guy asked if I wanted to be connected to the company that "generates the call list" and when I said "Yes, thanks" I was immediately disconnected. Unlike other callers, I was not cursed at but it was clearly a scam.
Call your state AG. If a number of people do this the states will sue the company and put it out of business. Or the states will get the US AG after them.
