I get these calls quite frequently. I know it's a scam because I carry no credit card balances, they are paid off every month. So I have a little fun with them. I give them crazy numbers, and after a while I ask Rachel if she will give me a [***] if i sign up....click...LMAO
I always press one and speak to a live person and ask them to take my name off their list because I do not want to be called but they continue to call. I've gotten at least 6 calls within 2 months. I don't know how to make it stop.
This number is some company 'wanting to lower my credit card interest rate'. I don't have a balance on my cc!!!! Next time, I'll have my whistle ready.
This call is being recorded....
This will let them know that you are going to pursue this.
Usually they will ask you if you want to be pulled off their list...tell them yes.
