you can help by calling the FCC as described in the post to which I am replying. It takes some time to navigate through the appropriate menu for unwanted telephone calls and faxes, but once you get to that menu option, select the number "0" to report the complaint. I had to listen to the FCC recording several times to understand that part.
Also, it seems the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is more likely to process your complaint as their jurisdiction is more complete in this case. In order to report the complaint to the FTC, call
I keep getting calls from this #. An automated machine tells you now is the time to lower your interest rate. I hung up bc if that was the case my credit card would send lots of notices (none of which get lost in the mail). The next time I called my credit card company I asked if they make those calls. They said no and there are lots of those scams right now.
I wish I could block this #.
They are calling me on my no-call cellphone. I tell them I am recording for the BBB as I am on a no call list. Then ask their employee name and number, usually they hang up but must make good notes on the call - usually only one or two after that and they are done.
I also have my husband who speaks Spanish answer and start yelling all sorts of various things in Spanish. They get scared and hang up - he is usually just saying colors, numbers, greetings, and sentences from basic spanish books!!
Just an FYI, but reporting someone to the BBB doesn't really do anything. The BBB is an orginization that a business elects to be a part of. If this company really is a bunch of scammers I'd be willing to wager that they don't participate.
