Received a call from 14066348998 about 30 min. ago. Computer-generated SCAM call in Spanish, informing about winning a lottery. The number on caller ID is spoofed, it was never in service. The call is most likely made by predictive dialer and could be originating from anywhere around the globe; actual computer making this call can be in your neighbor's attic, in Honduras, or in Nigeria - finding out exact location would require equipment which only the Feds can legally possess.
Just block it - eventually these guys will either get arrested for something unrelated, or killed by rival family, but till then there is nothing you can do.
I just got a call from these jerks while I WAS AT WORK. The nerve of them!!! Same experience as everyone else. No voice mail left. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.
They just called 5 minutes ago on my mobile. Answered as I thought it might be a job or something headquartered in Helena, MT. Was a recording in Spanish that just hung up. Didn't bother trying to ring them back. I've signed up on the do-not-call list. If I hear from them again I'll report them. Dweeby mites.
