Received a call from 14066348998 about 30 min. ago. Computer-generated SCAM call in Spanish, informing about winning a lottery. The number on caller ID is spoofed, it was never in service. The call is most likely made by predictive dialer and could be originating from anywhere around the globe; actual computer making this call can be in your neighbor's attic, in Honduras, or in Nigeria - finding out exact location would require equipment which only the Feds can legally possess.
Just block it - eventually these guys will either get arrested for something unrelated, or killed by rival family, but till then there is nothing you can do.
I just got a call, someone mumbled something in Spanish, dude I don't even know how they got my # but Yeh don't answer it you guys :) the number was 4066348998
I keep getting calls from these people, also. Once, I was able to hit "0" and speak with a person & immediately told them to remove me from the call list. The person said something in Spanish and hung up on me. I'm still getting calls but now when I hit"0" the call disconnects! I just FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC DO NOT CALL REGISTRY (https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx).
Consider filing a complaint, maybe the calls will eventually stop.
