Heather needs to go away. This is a pre-recorded call to a business office. We gave 6 lines so guess what! Yep 6 times. It is annoying and if you wait for someone to answer and begin to ask them to remove your number they hang up. Reporting them to the federal call list for abuse. I reported 3 others and they quit calling, amazing.
Just got a call. I did answer and immediately hung up because I knew it was probably a telemarketer. My other trick that I just figured out is that I can store phone numbers in my home phone just like a cell phone. With the number stored in the electronic phone book I can assign a specific ring. In this case, any caller that I don't recognize gets added to my list under Annoying Telemarketer and the distinct ring setting of NO RING. For those that actually leave me a message...that is what 3-3-7 on the voice mail is for. Thanks for calling...no one cares!
Same here. Always refuse giving info. unless YOU CALL THEM, at a minimum.
I asked for a number to call them back (Knowing they were a scam, as I'm a security/privacy expert) and they hung up on me. Proof enough?
