Just got a call from 406-931-3244 and the caller told me he was calling from Orlando, Florida. I asked him for the address of his company and he wouldn't provide me with an address. I asked him to call back next week after I checked with the Florida Secretary of State and Florida Attorney General's Office and he said he wasn't going to argue with me and hung up.
What's interesting is the put a "1" in front of their number. That's the first time I've EVER seen that on my cell phone caller ID which means the number is a spoof or scam. I never have a reason to answer unfamiliar phone numbers anyway, I just block 'em as they come.
I have been doing this for years. The only problem is, you have to dial the number that you forward it to every so often. Otherwise when the scammers change numbers and the number goes to someone else (not a spamer), they will be getting even more calls.
