Number showed up as International on my caller ID. I didn't pick it up and there was no message left. Like all of you I am tired of these phone calls. I am also on the do not call resgstry, but they just keep calling. Just don't answer the calls.
Ph caller calls repeatedly. I do not answer calls. Typically I am on ph interviewing folks for articles I write. It is a pain when the scammers ph me at the same time.
Several comments bring up the issue how scammers, like 1-406-931-3244, ignore the Do Not Call list. Often they get away with it because they are based outside the U.S.
What makes matters worse is that the phone companies sell our numbers to these scammers. Often the phone company won't permit blocking of the spammer numbers.
The solution is to block the number on a programmable cordless phone like Pansonic DEC phones. Yes, the scammer gets through once, but only once--now I go through long periods without a scam call.
Scam......Credit Services wanting credit card info from me....this is a SCAM...beware.....this was an illegal call since I am on the DO NOT CALL list. Please arrest these people.
