I knew this was a scam right away.. I tried to play along and ask question after question, and even asked to speak with a 'supervisor'... When I explained that I was aware of their scam he went on a little rant and rave and actually called me an [***] before hanging up on me...
I used to get these calls regarding my car warranty (I don't have a car with a warranty) and I was able to call them back... Unfortunately, this number does not receive incoming calls :-(
December 21 - Another call from this number. Rachel tells you she is
calling about your credit card, but there is not a problem with it.
I have had several calls from this number . obviously a scam, looking for
information. Very annoying !
Received a call from this number about lowering my cc interest. Thought it was quite strange as I use to be from MT but have lived in IN for a number of years.
Got unsolicited call from 406-948-8117 re: getting lower credit card interest. Reported then to the PA Attorney General. :_( "Service Dispatch" showed in caller I.D. The name Preferred Marketing List also appeared in a recorded message.
caught my wife talking to them just in time before she gave out too much info. she had become disabled and had applied for the disabilty relief she had applied for through her other credit card, which is currently void. had she actually done a switch, had this been legit, she would have had a balance transfer and lost the disability she was going to get to reduce the balance. i told her we were on the DNC list and nobody but her credit card company should be calling. after i told her this she started asking questions including why we were being called when on the DNC list and the guy stuttered and stammered and the call soon ended. at least she didn't give out her ssn....
