i also keep getting calls and I told them it was a scam into getting credit card #'s and the woman hung up on me. Trying to get the charges reversed and she was a [***] with a capitol B
Both this number and a number marked "Unavailable" have been calling me every hour or so. I actually got sucked into this scam and went to my bank to close my account. They sell magazine subscriptions for "3.00 a week" but they took 49.81 from my account. I thought about this and I don't pay 50 bucks for 6 months of magazines. They also promised a diamond watch. I spoke to a Brandon Ballard but I spoke to his "supervisor" too. Everyone was very nice and congenial, but if I call the number back no one answers. There is nothing on the net about this NRS, as they call themselves. And these folkes are STILL calling me. I will notify the FBI about this. If you haven't done this, DON'T. What a hassle.
I had the same thing, i gave them my number then decided, no i dont want to do this! I hung up but it was too late $50 came out my account. I called my bank and there looking into it but it may take up to ten days! so my account is almost over drawn since i got scammed for $70 last week...im a young single mum so $130 in one week is really getting me down.
When they call back im asking for a refund..has anyone else tried to get a refund from them?
They kept calling me too and finally I gave them my information and the money was taken out within like five minutes! So I tried calling this number and no answer, like a lot of you said before, so I looked up the company on yellow pages, 1 (406) 961-1300 and got an answer and the guy I talked to gave me the Customer Service number, 1(888)506-8304 which is open Mon-Fri, 9-5, Mountain Standard Time...You can cancel your subscription on there. I have to call tomorrow because it's too late now. Wish me luck.
I just called the 1(888)506-8304 number and was able to cancel my subscriptions. The key here is that I called within 3 days of them calling me, or of me "placing my order", I do not know how it works if you call after the 3 day mark.
Lisa, thank you for posting the 888 number! The company answered as "US Magazine" and the young lady was very polite and was able to pull up my information as well as completely cancel my subscription within less than 30 seconds. No haggling, no fuss (like I expected). I also asked if the current pending charge (of 49.81 from "PERIODICALS") on my account would be removed and she said that it was just voided. I also asked if I would need to return anything that had been sent and she said that the only thing I may still receive is the confirmation letter, but to just disregard it.
Good Luck People!

I just called my bank to have the payment stopped. It is such a same that people take advantage of a mag. thing like that when schools and stuff do it. I gave my friends cousin my number to do it for their school and so I completed all their questions and then found out that it wasn't them. now I have to fight with them and my bank for this to stop.
