called me saying they were calling about my mother said someone had filed a complaint against her. problem is they used a last name that my mother hasnt gone by in over 14 years. they wouldnt tell me there name or what the complaint was about. and my mother and i havnt lived in Florida for 15 years.

So if it doesn't concern you, why bother telling you vaguely that "someone had filed a complaint" .... except of course to generate false shame and anxiety. Sounds like a dirty debt collector with no valid claim. We'll see if subsequent comments prove me right.
After numerous calls from this number, I finally answered. A man said he's calling to verify that I am willing to accept documents for someone I don't now. Seems every person wh reports this number has a different story...wonder who they are and what they are trying to scam.
Called said they were trying to serve me And I needed to call a 844 493 5873 number called that number and they said had wrong person and would delete me from system was a William Scott
