called me saying they were calling about my mother said someone had filed a complaint against her. problem is they used a last name that my mother hasnt gone by in over 14 years. they wouldnt tell me there name or what the complaint was about. and my mother and i havnt lived in Florida for 15 years.
Scam attempt. If your mother had a complaint filed against her, they wouldn't be calling you, her son, and releasing that information - that's illegal. Your mother would have received lots of mail about the situation and then a visit from a process server - who does NOT call ahead. Block their number, and alert your mom that she may get a call from this scammer.

Yeah I received several calls from these guys and they usually don't answer back when I called this time I finally got an answer and I told the girl that I did a little research on the company an if she called me back I'd be having my lawyer call them and all she said was OK and hung up if it was a legitimate company they would've been fine with having my lawyer call.

This caller uses 2 numbers--one is this one and they also call using 225-330-3959 which has been listed by this group here as a scam too. Saying they are service department of Accurate Location Information and have formal complaint documents to be delivered and to call or have your attorney call. I did not answer--that was the voicemail. Sad we have to put up with this! Glad we can all check it out here!
