I just got one of these calls today. Same story about a free nights stay at a Hilton in Manhattan or Orlando. I WORK for Hilton but have no idea what this call is about. Dont trust it. I am reporting it to Hilton today.
Received a call 28 Jan 08 at my resident phone, which is an unlisted number. The caller asked for resident by first name a couple of times and her family name. This is concerning in the fact our number is unlisted. Reading the blogs below, I gathered they are looking for personal information and possilby credit card numbers. I recommend not answering this call.
Received a call this morning from this number, Hilton was displayed on the caller ID. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message on my answering machine. I'm also on the Do Not Call registry and have an unpublished number. I will try calling the number back and entering #2 as some previously have and getting my name removed. Thanks for the info from the earlier posters.
I have been getting repeated calls from this number for the last several weeks. If the call goes to my voice mail, they hang up. If I answer, nobody is there. I looked the number up on line and determined that it is a solicitor and nobody I want to talk to. I am on the national do not call list.
Some freaking idiot from this number has been trying to reach me from past three days. I got a VM for the first time today and he was wistling for 30+seconds. Donot pick up, block them if you can
