I just got one of these calls today. Same story about a free nights stay at a Hilton in Manhattan or Orlando. I WORK for Hilton but have no idea what this call is about. Dont trust it. I am reporting it to Hilton today.
We've received about 4 calls over the last 2 days, although we haven't been home and they haven't left a message. Caller ID says it's from Orlando, FL. We stayed at the Hilton Homewood Suites in Seattle, WA, during the last week of December. We are also on the national Do Not Call list.
Received at least four phone calls from this number in the last two weeks. Every time I pick up, they hang up. They never leave a message. I figure it is just a crank call and I will not pick up anymore.
Rcv'd several calls during evening hours between 15-16 Jan 2008 from 407-722-3532. Caller did not leave message when machine picked up, and I answered a 3rd and 4th call and was greeted by a hang-up. I called the number back and found it to be "Hilton Hotel Vacation" line. Pressed option 1 on the keypad to speak with a customer service agent who immediately answered (less than 2 second wait). Advised them I was on DO NOT CALL Registry and they removed my number from their database... they also provided a confirmation number: 1962786. Hopefully the calls stop.
