Received a call from this number on my DNC listed phone at 1814 hours last night. It had rang about three or four times before I had a chance to pick it up and was in the middle of some spiel about a Walt Disney vacation. Feeling grumpy because I was relaxing (and hate scammers and spammers) I pressed to talk with someone so I could ask him why they were violating the law by calling number on the DNC list. I give the man credit: Unlike most scam artists, he was instantly very apologetic and promised to remove my number. We'll see. I initially asked him what the company name was but couldn't understand what he was saying. Something like Road & Tire Transportation Company. I doubt I got that right but that's what it sounded like.
Just got a call from Jose Rivera, but didn't answer since I didn't recognize the name or number. Thanks to all that post here, based on the posts I added number to our blocked call list.
The following number called 407-932-5239, Caller Id said "Florida Call" , I Immediately new it was a Stupid Telemarketer.
Came online here, and see that I am absolutely correct. For whoever is reading this, do not waste time answering this call, let it go to answering machine- they never leave a message.
This is a Telemarketer.................................
These people call whether you're on the Do Not Call list or not. Doesn't that suggest something about them? Don't bother to press 2 to be removed from their predictive dialer, they won't. Much better not to answer calls whose Caller ID you don't recognize.
"<male voice>Let the memories begin. You have been selected for a magical Walt Disney World area holiday special. Your claim number is 5-4-5. To take advantage of this promotion press 1 now or press 2 to be removed from this list."
Thanks to Google Voice ( www.google.com/voice ) you can hear the recording on my Spam Calls web page:
