Same as everyone above. Was told I won trip to Florida listened to the girl read off her [***] then said I have no money and card is maxed to which she replyed oh well sorry about that I can not give u your ''free'' vacation. After reading all this I am glad to have had nothing to do with this.I also read another person's blog stating all the hassel he went through after accepting this offer.Yes it is all a scam they are trying to sell u timeshares by offering u this ''free'' vacation. These people need to get real jobs and stop harrassing us.
Oh yeah and they also tell u to call 1-800-394-5858 it apparently goes to the Silver Lake Resorts in Orlando FL but I have not called it so I am not sure as to where it goes.Who really knows with these people.
My brother got a call from 407-965-0600 today saying he won a trip to Florida. Because I thought the call was somewhat fishy, I told my brother not to give the stranger any personal info. But he did give his name, address and phone number and also told that person he's using a visa card becuase the caller asked him what credit card he uses.
Can anybody tell me if my brother is been scammed? He didn't give the person any checking acct/credit card information at all. I actually told him to suspend his credit card so it's now restricted. But I am so worried because the stranger ppl have our house address and phone number. PLEASE give me any advice or tell me any possible consequenses!!!!
AGain, my brother gave them only house address, phone number and his name!! Not anything else!!! please help us!
