Caller ID says Campbell CA. Automated voice message saying this was the second reminder from card services about my mortgage and referenced changes under Obama's legislation. I pressed 1 to speak to a representative. After a brief time on hold, I heard a man's voice answer and he asked for my name. Instead of giving him my name, I simply asked that my number be removed from their calling list. He hung up on me. Reported to do-no-call registry.
Called today and left message on my machine about lowering my credit card interest rates. Warned me this would be the final call. YES PLEASE!!!!! I am on do not call list. If I'm getting an average of 5 calls a week, what are the people NOT on the do not call list getting? They must be running for the phone every 20 minutes.
This number came up on my caller id log. Says "cell phone". I don't have a mortgage or any credit card debt, so these guys must just be dialing random numbers. I'm sure not a qualified lead.
I got a call today about lowering my credit card rate and said this is the last chance. (If only that was true.) Anyway I have received these types of call before, but never showing as coming from California. Will report to Do Not Call website.
