I thought it was a credit card company that keeps calling and so I pressed "3" to end the call, but then I heard a man's voice. He said something I didn't catch and I told him I did not want to receive these calls anymore. He replied "Tough Sh**"
New month, new batch of robo calls. Did not answer this call. Never talk to people over the phone about your finances or even bother to argue with them. Especially if the call comes in on caller id as a legit bank or financial institution.
Received a call from this entity at 11:10 a.m. this morning (Thursday, 9/06/2012), but I was screening calls with my answering machine so the caller didn't leave any messages and I used *69 to reveal the only "identity" I could find which was the phone number of 408-412-4097. Whomever this entity is, is most likely someone trying to either sell me something like a service or a product, or someone involved in political polls, and I'm not interested in conducting any phone polls.
Automated voice message saying this was the second important message from card services regarding my interest rates. Pressed 1 to speak to a representative and after short dialog they hung up. No indication of company name or who it was. If you try to call it back the voicemail is automated and full.
We all need to report each and every one of these scammers to www.donotcall.gov. Do not assume that you don't have to do it because somebody else did it. The squeeky wheel gets oiled -- the more complaints, the more ammo they will have to stop these crooks.
This goes without saying but do NOT give any of your personal information to these crooks. They belong in jail. I don't know how they can continue to pretend they have anything to do with any government stimulus either. It's all a lot of baloney. REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY!
